BOY! Yea, we are so excited! I would have liked a girl and my family would have really liked a girl but we are so happy that it is a boy. We have the first name of Zachary (don't know about the spelling yet) picked out but not sure on the middle name. Andrew did really well at the sonogram. He sure becomes even more of a chatter box when doctors and nurses are trying to talk. Zachary had a strong heartbeat at 151 and moved around a lot! The sono tech coded the gender for us so we could be the ones to tell Andrew whether he was getting a brother or sister. When she was viewing the gender she circled one thing and said "This is the umbilical cord" and then she circled another thing and said "and this is NOT an umbilical cord". That had me laughing so hard. It was fun taking Andrew with us to find out and he was really excited when he found out it was a boy. I think he would have been just as excited had it been a girl too though. He is so ready to be a big brother, he can hardly wait.
When we went in to see the doctor we found out that the placenta is covering my cervix and also my old c-section scar. This can become quite a serious problem if the placenta does not move. We are praying, and ask you to do the same, that the placenta moves and does not grow into the old scar tissue.
Well, that's all for now. I can't think of any better news to share! Have a great day!

Hey, Steph! I'm going to tell you what everybody told me when I found out I was having a second boy: Boys are easier to raise than girls! I don't know any different (and my mom says I was easy to raise) but I love having 2 boys and I know God knew what he was doing when he blessed us with 2 boys!! So often Phil will say, "Aren't you glad we have boys?" And I really, really am! I know you are, too!
Love ya,
Cathy
P.S. You'll save a ton of money on clothes with being able to do "hand me downs!" LOL!
