Our son that is. Last night while he was at a Parents Night Out at the church Eric and I went and bought his Christmas present. He has been asking for the T-Rex Rampage Hot Wheels track. Any time you ask what he wants it it always this track set. Well, Eric and I got that for him for Christmas but the cashier didn't put it in a bag. We didn't think anything of it until we picked up Andrew and remembered we had it in the back of the Tahoe. Andrew didn't see it until we got home though and now he is completely unglued. We didn't know what to say to him except that he only imagined he saw it. When Andrew woke up this morning he started in on his daddy asking Eric if he could open and play with the Hot Wheels. Eric continued the thought that it was only Andrew's imagination and he just started throwing this ultra temper tantrum. I decided to get up from bed, while they were in our bathroom hashing things out, and go get the silly thing out of the vehicle and stick it in the attic. Andrew hasn't said anything about it since before breakfast but I know it is only a matter of time because he and I are going to the gym this morning and I know he will be looking for it when we get inside of the Tahoe. I will have to go under an intense interrogation and try to lead him away from the thought of his Christmas present. Ugh, He really tests my parenting skills on a daily basis. If he continues to throw tantrums about it we are not above returning the silly track. Let hope and pray it does not come to that.
Until next time have a blessed day,
Stephany
